Dendrobium Mountain Magic f. pink

My conditions are too warm in summer to grow Den. culbertsonii but I’ve found the Ecuagenera hybrids of D. culbertsonii are much more tolerant of warm summer conditions. Will try this one mounted on a grape vine and misted on warm days in my Central California coastal greenhouse.

Shipped to Netherlands in January without heatpack in snowy conditions, which is a good decision as not to overheat the plant. Big mature specimen considering its miniature nature. Arrived a slightly dehydrated as can happen when shipping such delicate plants. Otherwise in excellent condition, healthily rooted in sphagnum.
