Comparettia falcata

Comparettia falcata is a charming epiphytic orchid celebrated for its delicate growth and brilliant pink to magenta flowers. The slender inflorescences hold the blooms above the foliage, creating an airy display with an impressive burst of color for such a compact plant.

Care Guide

• Light: Provide bright, filtered light. Avoid strong midday sun, which can scorch the leaves.
• Water: Water regularly during active growth, allowing the roots to approach dryness between waterings without remaining dry for long.
• Humidity: Maintain moderate to high humidity with consistent, gentle air circulation.
• Temperature: Grow in intermediate to warm conditions and protect the plant from cold drafts or extreme heat.
• Growing medium: Use a small pot or basket with an open, fast-draining orchid mix. It may also be grown mounted where humidity is high and watering is frequent.

Compact, colorful, and beautifully proportioned, Comparettia falcata is an excellent choice for orchid collectors who want a vivid floral display without sacrificing much growing space.
