Description

Anthurium arisaemoides Culture:

Successful cultivation of Anthurium arisaemoides requires attention to the following aspects:

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch its leaves.
  • Temperature: Thrives in warm to intermediate, humid temperatures typical of tropical climates. Ideal temperatures range between 18°C and 27°C (64°F and 80°F).
  • Humidity: Requires high ambient humidity. The use of humidifiers, frequent misting, or cultivation in terrariums may be necessary.
  • Watering: Keep the substrate consistently moist, but not waterlogged. Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.

Additional Notes:

  • This species is characterized by its trisected and bullate leaves, which distinguishes it from most species in the genus Anthurium.
  • It thrives in warm to intermediate conditions.
  • It requires a well-draining substrate.

I got a plant with many smaller leaves and lots of healthy roots. The plant shipped very well without any signs of stress.
Very satisfied with the quality.

As beautiful as pictured, healthy and growing a new set of leaves after 4 or 5 weeks.

Picked up in person and inspected while still on location. I was really disappointed right away. It was way smaller than I was expecting, basically a seedling. The leaves are yellow, and not a natural death from lack of light or old age, this is fungal or bacterial. I'm nervous it could spread to the other imports while in quarantine.

Im not sure what happened as it arrived great but within two days, the leaves started having yellow spots and was the only one among the orders to have them. It had great roots when it arrived

Only plant that totally died after a week (i ordered 12 so not bad.) Didn't come as healthy as the others.
