Phragmipedium Charlie Hanson

This spectacular slipper orchid hybrid, is a primary cross between Phrag. richteri and Phrag. fischeri. This hybrid masterfully combines the graceful, twisting petals and complex coloration of P. richteri with the distinct form and color of P. fischeri. The result is a highly sought-after orchid with a dramatic and intense floral display.

• Light: Prefers moderate, indirect or filtered light. Avoid direct sun, especially during the midday hours, as this can scorch the leaves. 
• Temperature: Thrives in intermediate temperatures. Ideal daytime temperatures should range between 18-24°C (65-75°F), with a slight drop at night to 13-18°C (55-65°F).
• Humidity: Requires high humidity, ideally between 60-80%. Excellent air circulation is still essential to prevent fungal issues, especially in humid conditions.
• Watering: This hybrid, like its parents, demands consistent moisture. The potting medium should never be allowed to dry out completely. Water thoroughly and frequently, making sure the pot has good drainage to avoid waterlogged roots.
