A distinctive miniature species from the cloud forests of Central America. It grows a single large elliptic leaf with a finely papillose texture and prominent midrib, producing successive flowers directly over the leaf surface with an erect triangular dorsal sepal, lateral sepals extending into slender filiform tails, and a purple-red labellum at the center.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 60–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can damage the delicate foliage.
• Temperature: 50–65°F (10–18°C); a Cool grower that thrives in stable, cool conditions with consistent air movement.
• Humidity: 80–95%; maintain high humidity at all times — ideal for cool terrarium setups.
• Watering: Water frequently to keep the medium evenly moist; never allow the fine roots to dry out completely between waterings.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or tree fern with fine sphagnum moss. Its large ornamental leaf and intricate flowers make it an excellent terrarium subject. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
