Guzmania andreettae

Guzmania andreettae is a distinctive tropical bromeliad that forms an elegant rosette of arching foliage. Its architectural growth brings a refined forest-canopy character to a humid greenhouse, terrarium-style display, or carefully maintained indoor collection.

Care Guide

• Light: Provide bright, filtered light and protect the foliage from direct midday sun.
• Water: Keep a small amount of clean water in the central rosette, replacing it regularly to prevent stagnation. Keep the root zone lightly moist but never waterlogged.
• Humidity: Maintain high humidity with gentle, consistent air movement.
• Temperature: Grow in intermediate to warm conditions and protect the plant from cold drafts and temperature extremes.
• Growing medium: Use a loose, airy bromeliad or epiphytic mix that drains quickly while retaining a little moisture.

With filtered light, fresh water in its central cup, humid moving air, and an open growing medium, Guzmania andreettae can develop into a beautifully balanced rosette with exceptional tropical presence.
