I am so proud to patronize Ecuagenera Ecuador for their collecting programs that conserve and protect biodiversity like the Andean blueberries. This new species of Ceratostema, guachizacae, is only known in Yacuambi. It is a unique species of epiphytic shrub with its lorate-lanceolate shape and very narrow width of its beautiful purplish leaf blades. Can’t wait for the February flowers - thank you so much Ecuagenera Ecuador!
