Information

Anthurium marmoratum 2

This captivating species showcases broad, cordate leaves with a distinctive, deeply pleated texture and a sculptural appearance.

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to maintain its rich green color and subtle venation. Too much direct sun can scorch the delicate leaf surface.
  • Temperature: Thrives in warm, stable temperatures between 18-26°C (65-79°F). Avoid sudden temperature drops.
  • Humidity: High humidity, 70-80% or higher, is crucial for the health and appearance of the foliage, helping to prevent browning of the leaf tips.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly when the top inch of the soil feels dry. It's important to use a chunky, well-draining mix to prevent root rot.

Additional Notes

Foliage Characteristics: The leaves are broad and heart-shaped with a deeply pleated texture. The prominent primary and secondary veins are a lighter green, creating a subtle contrast against the dark green leaf surface.
