A compact epiphyte native to the cloud forests of Ecuador, notable for its exceptionally long, thread-like scapes that rise well above the dense rosette of fleshy, ovate leaves. Each scape carries multiple tiny flowers alternately along its length — a racemose habit unique within the genus. This 'Big' selection offers larger plants and more vigorous growth than the standard form.
Additional Notes
Best grown in a fine bark or sphagnum moss mix in a small plastic or net pot with excellent drainage. Its tall, arching scapes make it an eye-catching specimen even outside of bloom. Ships bare root and well-established, with a healthy root system ready to settle into its new home.
