This miniature epiphyte, native to New Guinea, grows in lower montane forests across a wide elevation range (450 to 2400 meters). It features small, conical-cylindrical pseudobulbs spaced on a creeping rhizome, each carrying a single apical leaf. It is a very small plant best grown mounted or in small baskets.
It produces small, solitary flowers. The sepals are typically white with red stripes, the petals are white with two red spots, and the lip is white with red spots and a snow-white apex.
Nice quality of a rarely available plant. It's not easy to handle but worth a try. Take them out of the sphagnum moss when you receive them. We experienced problems when we tried to cultivate them in the moss they came here. But considering the rareness it's a really good price
