This miniature epiphytic orchid species from Southeast Asia is celebrated for its compact growth habit and distinctive strawberry-scented flowers that emerge from small pseudobulbs in charming clusters.
Additional Notes
Produces small but fragrant flowers with a distinctive strawberry scent. The miniature size makes it perfect for terrariums or small growing spaces, while its easy cultivation requirements appeal to both beginners and experienced growers.
Nice large plant, a little beat up from shipping. It is recovering fast, and has new growths and roots a month later!
Thank you for your review! We apologize for any damage that occurred during shipping, but we're glad to hear that your Bulbophyllum lasiochilum is recovering well. We hope you continue to enjoy its new growths and roots. Happy gardening!
I figured I'd get a small specimen like the one pictured. I did not. I got this long V of connected pseudobulbs, something like 14 of them. Now I have the nice 'problem' of figuring out how the heck I'm going to either pot or mount them.
Plentiful, nice green roots. Attached picture of it sitting in a takeout container with some wet sphagnum moss while I try and figure out what to do with it.
That's fantastic news, Eugene! We're thrilled to hear that your Bulbophyllum lasiochilum exceeded your expectations. Thanks. Best regards,
