Rhyncholaeliocattleya Ecuagenera Gold

A fragrant hybrid of Rlc. Yasuji Takasaki × C. dowiana aurea, bearing large Cattleya-type flowers with broad, heavily ruffled sepals and petals with characteristically wavy margins inherited from Cattleya dowiana aurea, and a compact trilobed lip with a deeply frilled, contrasting front lobe — an Ecuagenera original that captures the finest traits of one of the most celebrated species in the Cattleya alliance.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid harsh direct sun.
• Temperature: 55–72°F (13–22°C); an Intermediate to Cool grower with a minimum tolerance around 50°F (10°C).
• Humidity: 50–70%; tolerates moderate humidity with good air circulation.
• Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the medium to dry out between waterings; reduce watering slightly after new growth matures.

Additional Notes

Grow in a well-draining bark mix in a pot sized to the root system. A slight temperature drop at night encourages blooming. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established.
