This charming Ecuadorian species produces small, cheerful flowers with fused sepals forming a compact triangular structure and short sepaline tails. The diminutive size and successive blooming make it a delightful addition to cool-growing collections.
Additional Notes
Native to the cloud forests, this species is valued for its compact size and reliable blooming habit. Best grown mounted on tree fern or cork bark, or in small pots with fine-grade bark mix or sphagnum moss to accommodate its compact root system.
Plant a little small and a few yellow leaves to warrant a 5 rating. Lots of spent flower spikes indicating that this plant is a prolific bloomer. Can't wait to see and smell the blooms.
Thanks for sharing! We’re glad you noticed its blooming potential. Some yellow leaves may appear due to stress in small plants, but it should settle in quickly. Happy growing, and enjoy your new plant ✨
