An elegant Ecuadorian species featuring fragrant flowers with soft lavender-pink tones and characteristic tubular form. Successive blooms emerge from compact plants, making this intermediate to cool-growing species particularly prized for collectors.
Additional Notes
This fragrant species is a rare find among Masdevallia. Native to Ecuadorian cloud forests, it adapts well to intermediate to cool conditions. Best grown mounted on tree fern or cork bark, or in small pots with fine-grade bark mix or sphagnum moss.
got 3, small-medium sized portions, about 6 leaves each. all 3 are alive 2 months later putting out new leaves and roots. 2 are mounted in wooden baskets (pure sphagnum) and the other in a plastic pot (sphagnum and pumice), high airflow, high humidity, temps ranging from 60-80f
