A compact warm-growing epiphyte from the montane forests of New Guinea, producing solitary flowers with a large, rounded, hooded dorsal sepal of velvety texture and short, forward-curving lateral sepals. The fleshy labelo and intricate floral structure make it a prized miniature for collectors.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 50–60% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can scorch the compact foliage.
• Temperature: 65–82°F (18–28°C); a warm to intermediate grower with a minimum tolerance around 58°F (14°C).
• Humidity: 75–90%; high humidity is essential — ensure strong air movement to prevent fungal issues.
• Watering: Keep roots consistently moist but never waterlogged; water frequently with excellent drainage and airflow.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or tree fern, or in a small net pot with fine sphagnum moss. Ships bare root, well established.
