Information

Description

Description

A named clone of Anth. corallinum, a large-leaved climbing species from the tropical forests of Central America. It produces impressively large, sagittate-cordiform leaves with broad basal lobes, a prominent midrib, and dense secondary venation over a semi-leathery, subtly lustrous surface.

  • Light: Bright filtered light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid strong direct sunlight, which can scorch the large leaf surface.
  • Temperature: 68–86°F (20–30°C); a warm tropical grower that performs best with stable temperatures and no cold drafts below 55°F (13°C).
  • Humidity: 65–85%; high humidity supports large leaf development and maintains the characteristic lustrous texture.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly when the top inch of substrate feels dry; avoid waterlogging, which can cause root rot in the fleshy root system.

Additional Notes

Grows best in a chunky, well-draining aroid mix of bark, perlite, and coco coir; provide a sturdy moss pole or totem to support the vigorous climbing habit and encourage the development of its full-sized, architectural leaves. Ships well-established in its pot — ready to grow in your home or greenhouse.
