This is a miniature, epiphytic or lithophytic species, typically found at low elevations of China. It grows on rocks or trees.
The plant produces short, upright inflorescences with a cluster of small, showy flowers at the apex. The name "bicolor" refers to the striking two-toned flowers, which typically have a creamy yellow or white background with bold red or purple stripes and markings.
I received it with shriveled-up pseudobulbs, sun damage on leaves, and lost two leaves the day after receiving.
