This exceptional slipper orchid hybrid is a cross between Phragmipedium fischeri and Phragmipedium kovachii, combining distinctive characteristics that make it a prized specimen for discerning orchid collectors.

  • Light: Prefers moderate, indirect light. Avoid direct sun, especially during midday hours, as this can easily scorch the leaves.
  • Temperature: Thrives in intermediate temperatures. Ideal daytime temperatures should range between 18-24Β°C (65-75Β°F), with a slight drop at night to 13-18Β°C (55-65Β°F).
  • Humidity: Requires high humidity, ideally between 60-80%. Excellent air circulation is still essential to prevent fungal issues, especially in humid conditions.
  • Watering: This hybrid demands consistent moisture. Proper care involves using a well-draining growing medium. The potting medium should never be allowed to dry out completely.
