Kefersteinia andreettae

Kefersteinia andreettae is a refined miniature orchid with soft, fan-shaped foliage and a compact growth habit suited to intimate displays. Because it lacks substantial pseudobulbs for water storage, it is best for growers who can provide steady moisture and a humid, sheltered environment.

Care Guide

• Light: Provide low to medium filtered light and protect the foliage from direct midday sun.
• Water: Keep the root zone consistently lightly moist throughout the year. Water thoroughly, allow excess water to drain, and avoid both complete dryness and stagnant saturation.
• Humidity: Maintain high humidity with gentle, continuous air movement.
• Temperature: Grow in cool-to-intermediate or moderate conditions, avoiding prolonged heat and cold drafts.
• Growing medium: Use a fine, airy orchid mix that retains moisture without becoming dense. A small pot or basket with fine bark and sphagnum works well.

With soft filtered light, dependable moisture, moderate temperatures, and humid moving air, Kefersteinia andreettae can become a graceful miniature highlight in a specialist orchid collection.
