Disterigma El Pangui

A charming ericaceous, bearing small, urn-shaped tubular flowers with the delicate pendant habit characteristic of the genus. Its compact, trailing growth and near-continuous blooming make it an exceptional choice for hanging baskets, mounted culture, or cool greenhouse displays.

• Light: Moderate to bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; tolerates brief morning sun but avoid harsh midday exposure.
• Temperature: Cool to intermediate grower. Daytime 60–72°F (15–22°C), nighttime 50–60°F (10–15°C); cool temperatures promote continuous blooming.
• Humidity: 70–85%; consistent high humidity with good air circulation is essential to prevent fungal issues.
• Watering: Keep the substrate evenly moist; never allow roots to dry out completely, as the fine root system is sensitive to desiccation.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a well-draining, acidic epiphytic mix of fine bark and sphagnum moss or mounted on tree fern.
