A classic primary hybrid between Masd. coccinea and Masd. caudata, it inherits the vivid, saturated coloration of coccinea combined with the elegant, elongated tails characteristic of caudata. Free-flowering and vigorous, it is a standout choice for cool-growing collections.

• Light: Low to moderate indirect light; 70–80% shade cloth recommended. Avoid direct sun exposure.
• Temperature: 45–65°F (7–18°C). Cool grower; avoid prolonged temperatures above 75°F (24°C). Night drops encourage blooming.
• Humidity: 80–90%. Consistent humidity is essential; ensure good air circulation to prevent fungal issues.
• Watering: Keep evenly moist at all times — this genus lacks pseudobulbs and cannot tolerate drying out. Use soft, low-mineral water when possible.
