A hybrid of Rlc. Village Chief Chanel × C. Black Jack, this warm-growing Cattleya alliance orchid produces broad, rounded petals and a bold, ruffled lip with strong fragrance. The flowers are large and well-formed, with a velvety texture and excellent substance.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–50% shade cloth; avoid harsh midday sun to protect the broad petals.
• Temperature: 65–85°F (18–29°C); a warm grower that thrives with a slight 10°F (5°C) night drop to initiate blooming.
• Humidity: 60–80%; use a humidity tray or misting in dry conditions to maintain consistent moisture around the roots.
• Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the medium to approach dryness between waterings; never allow the roots to remain waterlogged.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a coarse bark mix or mounted on cork with good air circulation. Plants are shipped bare root and well-established, selected for vigor and floral quality at Ecuagenera, Ecuador.
