Paphiopedilum GXAAS Light

Paphiopedilum GXAAS Light Culture

Paphiopedilum GXAAS Light is a Paphiopedilum orchid hybrid grown at our nurseries in Ecuador. Like most of its genus it appreciates warm-growing conditions and steady, attentive care.

  • Light: Low to moderate diffused light, never direct sun. Leaves should stay a healthy medium green; very dark leaves suggest too little light.
  • Temperature: Day temperatures of 25-32 °C (77-90 °F) with a gentle drop at night to 20-24 °C (68-75 °F) suit it best.
  • Humidity: Aim for 60-80% humidity year-round, always paired with good air circulation.
  • Watering: Keep the substrate evenly moist but never soggy; do not let it dry out completely, and avoid water sitting in the crown.
