Dracula gorgona red

A striking red form of a species native to the cloud forests of South America, producing pendant flowers with broad, rounded sepals densely covered in short, hair-like trichomes. The three sepals are fused at the base and spread outward symmetrically, framing a small, fungus-mimicking lip at the center.

• Light: Low to medium indirect light with 70–80% shade cloth; never expose to direct sunlight.
• Temperature: 50–65°F (10–18°C); a cool grower that demands stable cool conditions and strong air circulation.
• Humidity: 80–90%; consistently high humidity is critical for healthy growth and flowering.
• Watering: Keep the medium evenly moist at all times; roots must never dry out completely.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a well-draining, moisture-retentive medium such as fine bark or sphagnum moss. Shipped bare root and well established.
