This miniature, epiphytic orchid is native to the lowland tropical forests of West and Central Africa. This variety is known for being larger than the standard species and is famous for its small, purple flowers with a hairy, mobile lip that features white to pale pink hairs, giving it the common name "The Dancing Bulbophyllum".

• Light: Requires intermediate, bright, indirect light, consistent with partial shade conditions. Protect it from direct sun exposure, which can damage the foliage.
• Temperature: This orchid thrives in warm, stable conditions, ideally maintaining temperatures between 75-85°F (24-29°C).
• Humidity: Demands high humidity, around 70% or higher, to mimic its tropical environment. Excellent air movement is crucial to prevent fungal development.
• Watering: Needs consistent moisture throughout the year. The medium should be allowed to approach dryness (about 70-80% dry) before watering thoroughly. It should never be allowed to completely dry out.
