Phragmipedium Urgandiae x Phragmipedium kovachii Culture

One of the Phragmipedium hybrids we produce at Ecuagenera, Phragmipedium Urgandiae x Phragmipedium kovachii does best under intermediate conditions.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light. Morning sun is tolerated, but avoid hot midday sun.
  • Temperature: Day temperatures of 20-28 °C (68-82 °F) with a gentle drop at night to 15-20 °C (59-68 °F) suit it best.
  • Humidity: Aim for 60-80% humidity year-round, always paired with good air circulation.
  • Watering: Keep constantly moist; this genus tolerates more water than most slipper orchids. Use good-quality water.
