Phragmipedium Dr Koopowitz

Phragmipedium Dr Koopowitz Culture

One of the Phragmipedium hybrids we produce at Ecuagenera, Phragmipedium Dr Koopowitz does best under cool-growing conditions.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light. Morning sun is tolerated, but avoid hot midday sun.
  • Temperature: Day temperatures of 15-24 °C (59-75 °F) with a gentle drop at night to 10-15 °C (50-59 °F) suit it best.
  • Humidity: High humidity (70-85%) with constant gentle air movement, much like its cloud-forest conditions, keeps the plant healthy and prevents fungal spots.
  • Watering: Keep constantly moist; this genus tolerates more water than most slipper orchids. Use good-quality water.
