Oncidium micklowii

A charming epiphyte from the cloud forests of South America, bearing arching, branched spikes with several small to medium-sized flowers. The narrow, lanceolate sepals and petals frame a broad trilobed lip with a finely fringed margin and a prominent basal callus.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 50–65% shade cloth; avoid direct sun exposure, which can stress the slender pseudobulbs.
• Temperature: 54–72°F (12–22°C); an intermediate to cool grower that benefits from cooler nights to stimulate spike initiation.
• Humidity: 65–80%; consistent moisture around the roots promotes vigorous growth and reliable flowering.
• Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the medium to approach dryness between waterings; never allow roots to sit in standing water.

Additional Notes

Best grown mounted on cork or in a fine bark mix with excellent drainage and airflow. Plants are shipped bare root, well established, and ready to adapt quickly to their new growing environment.
