Lepanthopsis astrophora

A miniature species from the cloud forests of South America, producing dense, star-shaped flowers arranged in tight, upright racemes that bloom repeatedly throughout the year. The flowers are tiny and flat-faced with three broad, spreading sepals that radiate symmetrically, giving each inflorescence a delicate, jewel-like appearance when viewed up close.

• Light: Low to medium indirect light with 70–80% shade cloth; avoid any direct sun exposure.
• Temperature: 50–68°F (10–20°C); a cool to intermediate grower that benefits from stable temperatures and constant air movement.
• Humidity: 80–90%; high humidity is essential at all times for healthy growth and continuous blooming.
• Watering: Keep the medium evenly moist; never allow the fine roots to dry out between waterings.

Additional Notes

Best grown in fine sphagnum moss or mounted on cork bark with constant moisture and excellent air circulation around its compact, tufted root system. Shipped bare root and well established.
