A primary hybrid of Lths. caprimulgus × Lths. portillae, producing pendant flowers with a deeply cupped, globose structure in rich crimson tones overlaid with a striking pattern of cream spiral veins. The fused lateral sepals form a bold, lantern-like bloom that hangs dramatically from the slender ramicaul — one of the most visually arresting combinations in the genus.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 50–70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can stress the delicate foliage.
• Temperature: 55–72°F (13–22°C); an Intermediate grower that appreciates moderate temperatures with a slight drop at night and good air circulation.
• Humidity: 75–90%; high humidity is essential to keep roots and foliage in optimal condition.
• Watering: Keep roots evenly moist; water frequently in small amounts with excellent drainage to prevent root rot.

Additional Notes

Excellent mounted on cork bark to allow the pendant flowers to hang freely and be fully appreciated. A closed terrarium or enclosed glass container makes an excellent environment for this hybrid, though it can also thrive in any humid, well-ventilated setup. Ships bare root, well-established.
