Philodendron heleniae subsp. heleniae

Picked this guy up at one of their pop ups and the plant was indeed pretty big. Since it was so long, I had to rest it on a moss pole right away. Lost a couple leaves within 2 days. He hung on for 3 weeks before losing most of the others. Checking on the root system in sphagnum moss, they didn't look like they were taking but it stayed the same for 2 whole months with only one leaf. I'm pretty good with philodendrons but this one did not settle in.

This plant arrived in amazing condition with three leaves, a great root system, and was HUGE! It went through the normal shipping shock and lost the leaf it was currently putting out, but its currently potted up, thriving and pushing out a new leaf! So happy with this plant!
