Philodendron verrucosum Panther

This one is, next to Verrucosum 2, the most beautiful Verrucosum I bought at Ecua. It shipped quiet well, but leaves weren't that great. But the root system was incredible good and the new leaves, OMG!!!! I did not expect that the back turned out to be dark red, the vein structure, everything. So so lucky to get one and looking forward to get the giant leaves.

Ordered two of this plant as well, both plants came with good roots, larger bottom leaves, one plant had more immature growth so it is more of a project, the other was perfect. Panther is a great sp. of Philodendron Verrucosum, these also need water right out of the box!

Stem was broken inside the box and eventually it died within a week. Verrucosum just don't travel well. Got a refund for it tho, so the customer service is good.

I think of all the verrucosum types being sold this one shipped the best. Its a gorgeous little plant with a good root system. It has two leaves and is doing well. Happy about my purchase. Great price.
