Light: Ludisia discolor prefers low to medium indirect light. It is crucial to avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch its delicate leaves and fade their vibrant coloration. 

Temperature: This orchid thrives in typical household temperatures, ideally between 18-27°C (65-80°F). Protect it from cold drafts and temperatures below 13°C (55°F).

Humidity: While Ludisia discolor can tolerate average home humidity, it will flourish in moderate to high humidity levels, ideally between 50-70%.

Watering: Ludisia discolor does not have pseudobulbs to store water, so it requires more consistent moisture than many other orchids. Water thoroughly when the top inch of the soil feels slightly dry to the touch. Ensure excellent drainage to prevent root rot.
