Oncidium Zoilita

Oncidium Zoilita Culture

Oncidium Zoilita is an Oncidium orchid hybrid grown at our nurseries in Ecuador. Like most of its genus it appreciates cool-growing conditions and steady, attentive care.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light; tolerates some morning sun.
  • Temperature: Day temperatures of 15-24 °C (59-75 °F) with a gentle drop at night to 10-15 °C (50-59 °F) suit it best.
  • Humidity: High humidity (70-85%) with constant gentle air movement, much like its cloud-forest conditions, keeps the plant healthy and prevents fungal spots.
  • Watering: Water regularly while growing, letting the medium approach dryness between waterings.
