Oncidium Morona

A robust hybrid of Onc. dracoceps × Onc. Espiritu Santo, producing branched spikes with several medium-sized, well-formed flowers. The elongated sepals and petals display bold maculate patterning, while the broad trilobed lip features a wide frontal lobe and a richly ornamented central callus flanked by prominent column wings.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid direct midday sun, which can scorch the long, lanceolate leaves.
• Temperature: 54–72°F (12–22°C); an intermediate to cool grower that benefits from a nighttime temperature drop to stimulate spike initiation.
• Humidity: 60–80%; stable moisture levels support healthy pseudobulb development and prolific flowering.
• Watering: Water thoroughly and allow the medium to approach dryness between waterings; never allow roots to sit in standing water.

Additional Notes

Best grown in a medium bark mix with good drainage and airflow around the roots. Plants are shipped bare root, well established, and ready to adapt quickly to their new growing environment.
