Description

A stunning Cattleya alliance hybrid resulting from the cross between C. Felicia and Rlc. Goldenzelle Lemon Chiffon, combining the full, rounded form of Felicia with the warm, luminous tones and generous size characteristic of the Goldenzelle line. Expect large, fragrant blooms with excellent substance and a graceful, long-lasting display.

  • Light: Thrives under 40–50% shade cloth; tolerates more light than many Cattleyas but avoid harsh midday direct sun to protect flower quality.
  • Temperature: Warm grower. Daytime 70–85°F (21–29°C), nighttime lows of 60–65°F (15–18°C); a 10–15°F day-night differential helps trigger blooming.
  • Humidity: Prefers 50–70% relative humidity; humidity trays or a humidifier work well, with strong air circulation to keep pseudobulbs and roots healthy.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly then allow the mix to dry almost completely before watering again; reduce frequency slightly after new growth matures.

Additional Notes

Best grown in medium bark mix or mounted on cork bark with good drainage; repot every 2–3 years or when the mix begins to break down, ideally just after blooming.
