A rare and highly sought-after aroid from the cloud forests of South America, closely resembling Philodendron lynnhannoniae in its elongated, deeply bullate leaves with a velvety dark-green surface and contrasting pale venation. It climbs vigorously and develops increasingly impressive foliage with maturity.
Additional Notes
Best grown in a mix of orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir with a moss pole or support for climbing. Ships bare root, well-established (35–45cm). Grown at Ecuagenera, Ecuador.
However, it didn’t arrive to me that way. I think the long travel affected it. I’m hoping to bring it back, but I think it’s too late..
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We are thrilled to hear that your Philodendron lynnhannoniae cf arrived in perfect condition. Thank you for sharing a picture with us, it looks absolutely stunning!
Just a short update, how the plant looks 3 weeks later...nothing more to say :-)
I've been contacted by the customer service and got all the support I needed.
Fazit: 5-star seller with a professional 5-star customer service. It was not the first time I bought high quality plants at Ecuagenera and it won't be the last time. I'm very satisfied.

Please, before you leave a review…. IT’S NOT THE SELLERS RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU, YOUR CONDITIONS, OR INEXPERIENCE ARE NOT CAPABLE OF KEEPING THE PLANT ALIVE. By giving a one star rating you’re giving an impression that the seller is of one star. If your plant arrived with healthy roots, good packaging, a leaf or two yellowed (to be expected when shipping sensitive plants over multiple days in traumatizing conditions…duh?). That’s a five star plant. We’re rating the sellers here. Not the DNA or cultivar of the plant. Of course share your experience with the cultivar, but don’t hold that against the seller. And no, I’m not a bot, I have this saved in my notes because this is one of my largest pet peeves that I see on listings :)
Two years ago I already bought one of these beautiful gems. Unfortunately it died after 1,5 years. So I decided to try it once more, even if I knew, that they are very difficult to cultivate. I got my Ph.lynnhannoniae cf in a good condition, 1 leaf was a little yellowish and the plant let it drop after one day in the welcome box. But now it already produces a new one. So I'm full of hope, that this delicate plant will thrive and survive! The roots looked very healthy. As soon as it settled in a bit, I will grow it in semi-hydroculture.
Hello! Thank you for your review on our Philodendron lynnhannoniae cf. We're so sorry to hear about your previous order, and for the damage on the leaf but we are happy that it is recovering. Our team will contact you to know the status of the plant or if you need assistance.
