Information

Anthurium Ingrid de Portilla x Anth. crystallinum x (Anth. Luxury Jungle)

A complex hybrid of Anth. Ingrid de Portilla × Anth. crystallinum × Anth. Luxury Jungle, combining hybrid vigor with the refined venation structure of a classic crystal-type species. It produces broad, cordate to ovate leaves on deep red petioles, with a slightly bullate surface and well-defined primary venation — new growth emerges with warm bronze tones before maturing to deep green.

  • Light: Bright indirect light with up to 70% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can scorch the broad leaf surface and fade venation contrast.
  • Temperature: 65–80°F (18–27°C); an intermediate-warm grower that performs best with stable temperatures and good air circulation.
  • Humidity: 70–90%; high humidity supports full leaf expansion and preserves the bullate surface texture.
  • Watering: Water thoroughly when the top inch of substrate begins to dry; avoid waterlogged conditions and never allow the roots to dry out completely.
  • Growth Habit: A vigorous, upright grower that pushes broad leaves in rapid succession on ornamental red petioles. The hybrid combines the bold leaf architecture of Ingrid de Portilla and Luxury Jungle with the structured venation and cordate form inherited from crystallinum, resulting in a plant with strong collector appeal and reliable indoor adaptability.

Additional Notes

Plants are shipped bare root and well-established. Upon arrival, pot immediately in a well-draining aroid mix and water thoroughly to rehydrate the root system. Allow the plant to acclimate in a humid, shaded environment for 1–2 weeks before introducing to its permanent growing conditions.
