Masdevallia deformis Kraenzel. 1921 SUBGENUS Masdevallia SECTION Masdevallia SUBSECTION Coccineae Veitch 1889.

It is native to the Cordillera del Condor and its foothills is from northeast to southeast at an altitude of 1600-2600 meters. Relative humidity of 70-90 % with a brightness of 30 to 60% .

Plant arrived in good condition.

Arrived in good condition, though somewhat smaller than other orchids I received (had 15 leaves). 5 older leaves have tip damage (burn?) but new leaves are growing perfectly. Leaves are up to 4 inches. Growing mounted on cork, in a terrarium with LED lighting at about 1500 fc. Keeping moist, with humidity between 65-85%, and air circulation provided by a mini fan.
