The leaves are broadly cordate with well-defined basal lobes, prominent primary venation with visible secondary patterning, a semi-matte surface, and a vigorous upright habit — with new growth emerging in a striking contrasting flush.

• Light: Bright indirect light with 40–60% shade cloth; avoid direct sun, which can fade the venation contrast and scorch the broad leaves.
• Temperature: 65–82°F (18–28°C); a warm tropical grower that performs best with stable temperatures and no cold drafts.
• Humidity: 70–85%; sustained high humidity supports full leaf expansion and maintains the semi-matte surface texture.
• Watering: Water thoroughly when the top layer of substrate begins to dry; avoid waterlogging and never allow roots to sit in standing water.
